We are seeking a Power BI consultant who combines strong technical skills with an exceptional eye for visual design. The ideal candidate can turn complex data into clear, intuitive dashboards that help business leaders quickly understand performance and make informed decisions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and redesign Power BI reports and dashboards with a focus on usability, visual quality, and data storytelling.
• Translate business questions into effective metrics, layouts, and visualizations.
• Improve existing dashboards as data volumes, reporting needs, and audiences evolve.
• Build reports using established semantic models and contribute to model improvements when needed.
• Optimize report performance, navigation, and accessibility.
• Apply consistent design standards while tailoring dashboards to their intended users.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts, data engineers, and other technical teams.
• Document work and participate in quality reviews before deployment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience developing production Power BI reports and dashboards.
• A strong portfolio demonstrating dashboard design, redesign, and data storytelling.
• Proficiency with Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, DAX, and semantic models.
• Ability to select the right visual for the question and present complex information without clutter.
• Experience working with stakeholders to define reporting requirements and validate results.
• Understanding of report performance, reusable metrics, and self-service analytics.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
